Concerns having the ability for providing a community residential corrections facility(s) for Federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, training opportunities and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Lafayette, Louisiana area. Estimated number of inmate days are 7,300 for the base period, 3,650 inmate days for the first, second, third option years, respectively (males 70%, females 30%). Estimated RFP issue date is October 10, 1997, estimated RFP closing date is December 10, 1997. Contract base period is two years with three one-year options to renew.
