Multiple types of batteries required include manufacturer's part numbered items manufactured by a variety of companies. The government anticipates multiple awards to manufacturers and or distributors. The Defense Supply Center Richmond will award an indefinite quantity contract (IQC) for direct vendor delivery (DVD) FOB CONUS. This contract will incorporate electronic data interface (EDI) and paperless order placement systems (POPS). The duration of the contract period is one year with four one-year options for a total time of up to and not to exceed five years commencing upon award of the contract. The successful offeror will be required to supply batteries new, wet, charged and 100% serviceable and ready for immediate use and to provide pick up and disposal services for unserviceable batteries on a ONEFOR-ONE exchange basis. contractors shall be required to comply with all applicable EPA, federal, state, local laws and regulations. All services/supplies shall be provided on an FOB CONUS destination basis. All Products, services, delivery times and administrative requirements will be described and defined in the solicitation. 15 delivery days ARO. Option to ext term of contract: 48 months.
