Y -- CONSTRUCTION OF THE RIGHT ABUTMENT DRAINAGE ADIT FOR HORSE MESA DAM SOL 1425-98-SI-32-00001 DUE 102997 POC Ms. Deborah Talbert, Contract Specialist, 602-870-2421 or 602-869-2421; Ms. Ruth Martin, Contracting Officer, 602-870-2457 or 602-869-2457 The Bureau of Reclamation anticipates awarding a fixed-fee type contract for construction of the right abutment drainage adit for the Horse Mesa Dam located approximately 40 miles northeast of Phoenix, Arizona in Maricopa County. Principal features of the work consist of constructing an 8-foot by 10-foot modified horseshoe shaped drainage adit, 175 long into the right abutment; furnishing and installing an access walkway; constructing temporary drill platforms; drilling holes for piezometer installations, pre-drains, and deep drains; placing cast-in-place concrete at the adit portal and in the adit floor; installing instrumentation; furnishing and installing a ventilation system; and furnishing and installing an electrical system. The solicitation package may be requested from the Bureau of Reclamation, Phoenix Area Office, Attention: PXAO-8208, PO Box 9980, Phoenix, Arizona 85068-0980. The package will be available on or about September 24, 1997 for a non-refundable fee of $25.00. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business firms, however, all sources responding to this synopsis shall submit information relative to business status, including identification as to whether it is small, large, minority-owned and/or woman-owned. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this acquisition is 1629 and the small business size standard is $17,000,000 in annual receipts. All responsible resources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The telephone prefix 870 for the Phoenix Area Office 7th Street location is scheduled to be changed to 869.
