DESC: The government intends to procure the following requirement as a sole source acquisition from Evans and Sutherland, 600 Komas Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84158: a Terrabit Model ATE 102 Rack Mount Computer System consisting of 133 Mhz Processor w/8MB Memory, 1GB Hard Drive, 3.5" 1.44MB Floppy Drive, 10X CD-ROM Drive, 19" VGA Monitor, Keyboard & Mouse. Evans & Sutherland Display Systems Graphics Library Software, Windows & DOS Operating Systems Software, WATCOM for Windows C/C++ Compiler Software, and DIAB Power PC "C" Compiler. Also RHYTHM Circuit Card Assembly w/8MB Memory and OMB Texture (P/N: RHY-0800), DOS Ethernet I/F Circuit Card Assembly (P/N: DRI104), 350MB Tape Backup Unit (P/N: ESD204), AVIDS Software License (P/N: ADS100), RMIX Circuit Card Assembly (P/N: RMX200), and 48" VGA Cable Assemblies. Procurement of these items for a Cockpit Display System (CDS) will enable the F-16 Emergency Procedures Trainer to provide operational multi-functional displays and provide the capability to merge video with the out-the-window display and project F-16A representative heads-up display. This procurement will also ensure compatibility with previously purchased CDS equipment currently in use. No RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. This award will be issued on the basis of other than full and open competition, in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 as stated requirements can only be satisfied by the manufacturer of these items.
