902-6219 This procurement is for a 6' long by 6' wide by 8' tall
fiberglass equipment shelter. Height shall be 7' from finished floor to
finished ceiling. The shelter shall be suitable for use in a corrosive
marine environment and for prolonged exposure to temperatures of -30
degrees F. to +125 F. The shelter shall be designed for a minimum floor
loading of 300 psf uniformly distributed and a concentrated load of 600
psf. The roof shall be designed for a minimum of 50 psf snow loading
and the shelter shall be able to withstand winds up to 130 mph. It
shall be constructed on structural steel skids with a minimum of two
C6X8.2 steel channels with steel cross members. Skid components shall
be hot dip galvanized. The entire shelter shall be coated with a
minimum of 1/8" (1/4" on roof), polyester resin and chopped fiberglass
composite construction. Estimated cost is under $25,000.00. This
acquisition is a total Small Business set-aside. Interested sources
