S-FBOAD-96-R-0057. All parties responding to the original CBD
announcement will be included on the Bidders Mailing List for this
requirement. This requirement is to provide entomological and pest
control services in various Government-owned and leased facilities of
U.S. Department of State's (DOS) foreign diplomatic Posts, USIA (US
Information Agency) facilities, and AID (Agency for International
Development) facilities. This solicitation is located at the following

be an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity type contract. The
minimum amount guaranteed under the base year and any option year,
which is exercised, is $10,000.00. The maximum amount for the base year
is $300,000.00 and $300,000.00 for each option year, which is
exercised. The term of this contract shall be one base year from the
date of the Contracting Officer's signature with the possibility of
four one-year options, which may be exercised at the discretion of the
Government. The services required by this contract shall suppress
indoor and outdoor populations of Subterranean Termites,
Non-Subterranean Termites, Wood-Boring Beetles, Ants, Fungi, and other
wood-destroying organisms, which destroy and weaken structural
components of Government buildings. All the above pests that are
incidental invaders inside buildings, which may cause structural
damage, shall be controlled under the terms of the contract. The work
shall be accomplished in a manner, which conforms to the intent of
all-applicable U.S. EPA environmental and U.S. OSHA safety laws and
regulations. The contractor shall recognize and take all precautions
against the documented biological dangers of pesticide application;
cause no contamination to other parts of the building, endanger none of
the building occupants or workers during the task; and leave the areas
safe for re-occupancy. Structural modifications for pest control,
including the application of caulk and other sealing materials, shall
not be the responsibility of the Contractor. The full solicitation can
