UNICOR, FPI intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the award of a Firm Fixed Price Requirements Type Contract for delivery of Cloth (Cotton Flannel) to UNICOR, FPI, Federal Correctional Institution at Safford, Az. SOLICITATION 1PI-B-2031-97 IS HEREBY CANCELLED IN ITS ENTIRITY IAW FAR 14.404-1(C)(1) AND THIS IN THE RE-SOLICITATION. The contract will be for one (1) Base Year and two (2) Option Years. Delivery Order limitation are, Minimum: 2,500 yards; Maximum: 10,000 yards. DESCRIPTION: Fabric, cloth flannel, cotton, 6 oz, IAW FED-SPEC: CCC-C-458C, dated July 7, 1976, Type IV, Class 2, 36" wide, UNICOR Part Number: FAB1125. The cloth shall be unbleached, napped on the back side, 6 ounces per square yard. The weave shall be a 3 or 4 harness twill. Minimum yarns per inch 62 WARP, 38 Filling. Minimum breaking strenght 60 pounds warp 25 pounds filling. Fabric width shall be 36 inches. Each roll shall contain 400 yards of fabric and rolled on heavey cardboard tubes and wrapped in heavey plastic. This material will be used in the production of Leather Combination Gloves.
