Z -- PROTECTIVE COATINGS MAINTENANCE SOL F31601-97-R-A014 DUE 111397 POC Contact: Ms. Mata, Contract Specialist, 910-394-6256 or Mr. Honan, Contracting Officer, 910-394-6254 This project provides for all labor, vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other furnished property and services required for protective coatings for various base buildings/facilities at Pope Air Force Base, NC. Interior and exterior components of selected base facilites are to be painted, maintained, and repaired by the contractor to maintain the facilities at a serviceable standard. The contractor shall be required to match existing Federal Standard 595a colors and the existing paint system. The painting includes complete prepainting preparation and finish painting of all surfaces assigned. The project also provides for signs that require hand painting of all surfaces assigned. Additionally the project provides for signs that require hand-painted, stenciled, engraved, or baked-on lettering. Facilities will be powerwashed to maintain clean appearance of facilities exterior. Vinyl wall covering, carpet and wall base will be installed to improve the appearance of the facilities interior. The magnitude of this project is: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 -- 1 JB -- FOB Pope AFB, NC -- Performance period is base year with 4 option year provisions.
