This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ No. FDA E30914). The solicitation clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 3826. This requirement is unrestricted. The Food and Drug Administration's (FDA's) Center for Devices and Radiological Health has a requirement for a Varian 3400 Gas Chromatograph with Split/Splitless Injector, base cabinet and transfer line interface assembly and the following assessories: 1) A200S Autosampler upgrade for Varian 3400 GC on XSQ series instrument, 2) 0.7 ml x 200 vial tray for A200S, 3) Installation labor and travel for option, 4) Spare 4500 style EI/CI source, 5) ICIS 8.3 software upgrade, and 6) 385 tray 1.5 ml x 105 for A200S. Within ninety (90) days after award of the contract, delivery shall be made FOB Destination to Food and Drug Administration/MOD-1 Facility, 8301 Muirkirk Road, Laurel, Maryland 20708.
