The Indian Health Service (IHS) intends to award a 12-month SOLE-SOURCE Simplified Acquisition order as a Buy Indian Set-Aside, 25 U.S.C. 47, to Mr. Rod Robinson, Great Falls, Montana, to provide consultant services to assist with the implementation of the automated Addiction Severity Index software as a clinical assessment instrument and link with treatment planning, progress notes, and success outcome modules. Implementation will consist of ten sites as pilot to obtain licenses and training on accurate assessments software. Proposed Contractor will assist to expand ~current computer capacities including E-mail to match requirements for the pilot sites, provide regionalized training for all sites, customize the software to effectively address the unique clinical needs of the American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) patients, and develop a report on the factors which facilitate barriers to and recommendations for implementation of a computerized clinical data base and future recommendations.
