each Arresting Cable Assemblies manufactured in accordance with Naval
Sea Systems Command Drawing 6318418 and associated drawings. The
specification covers the requirements of nylon rope with conductor for
use in arresting cables for rocket-propelled demolition linear
charges. Various military specifications such as QQ-W-343, MIL-C-3131,
MIL-STD-105 apply in the manufacture of this item. First Article (FA)
testing quantity is 10 each with production quantity of 30 each; FA
requirements may be waived if contractor verifies past Government
acceptance for same or similar items. A Firm-fixed price purchase order
will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is reserved
exclusively for Small Business concerns. The applicable SIC code is
3496 and the size standard is 500 employees or less. Delivery is
required F.O.B. Crane within 120 days after effective date of award. It
is anticipated that a formal RFQ will be issued to satisfy this
requirement. FAR Part 12 procedures will not apply. Solicitation
