This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 & 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested in response to this notice. A written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document which incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 90-45. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable standard industrial code is 3357 and the small business size is 1000. Description of requirements. Clin 0001 -- 50 pair telephone cable, 24 AWG, REA standard 242206, approx .672 O.D.IN, 1 reel, 1,000 feet of cable per reel. Clin 0002 -- 100 pair telephone cable, 24 AWG, REA standard 242208, approx .882, 2 reel, 1000 feet cable per reel. Clin 0003 -- 200 pair telephone cable, 24 AWG, REA Standard 242211, approx 1.174 O.D. IN, 2 reels, 1000 feet of cable per reel. Clin 0004 -- 1200 pir telephone cable, 24 AWG, REA standard 242216, approx 2.721 O.D.IN, 4 reels of 1,000 feet per reel, 1 reel of 500 feet per reel. All material to be delivered FOB DESTINATION to Receiving Officer, Bldg. 328 (hours 7am-3pm, M-F), Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma AZ 85369-5030. Specifications: SECTION 1 -- (A) All cable shall be IAW Rule Electrical Administration Standard (REA) and American Wire Gage Standard (AWG). (2) For verification and record purposes, Contractor to provide technical certification and technical data sheets on all material. Cable manufactured more than two years ago will not be accepted. (3) Material to be round, shielded twisted pairs, solid insulation cables, 24 AWG, (alpeth) aluminum shield, polyethylene jacket, single jacket filled. REA Specification PE-39 applies. SECTION 2 -- Packaging and Shipping Instructions -- Cable shall be furnished on non-returnable cable reels, with non-returnable lagging, which are suitably designed to protect the cable from damage during shipment and storage. The cable shall be furnished in continuous (non-spliced) lengths as specified in this notice. Exact quantities are required;, however, variance of plus or minus 5 percent due to packing or allowance in mfr process will be acceptable. Delivery date thirty (30) days after award. Offerors will provide both unit and extended prices for each item identified in this notice plus their standard commericial warranty of the product offered. SECTION 3 -- Clauses -- FAR 52.212-1, 52-212-2, 52.212-3, 52-212-4, 52-212-5 apply. Addendums 52.212-3 Contractors shall include a completed copy of this provision. Addendum 52-212-5, para B, section (1)thru (3), (6) thru (10)apply as well as DFAR 252.212-7001 and DFAR 252.225-7001, para (b).
