Systems Command anticipates a requirement for CG47 Ship Control System
Upgrades. The competitive contract is currently anticipated to include
one system and spares for the Land Based Engineering Site (LBES) in
Philadelphia, four production shipsets of the upgrade, including
installation and all installation materials, as well as shipboard
documentation, computer embedded onboard training and a Direct Vendor
Delivery (DVD) program for replacement parts. The contract will include
such design as required, although it is anticipated the requirement
will be filled through use of commercial and COTS equipments to the
maximum extent possible. The contract will also include options for six
production shipsets of the upgrade plus DVD on them. This is a
presolicitation notice inviting comment from industry. A draft
Statement of Work and brief description of the anticipated acquisition
approach will be posted to the NAVSEA Contracts Directorates World
