(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written RFQ will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation No. is RFQ 07-50184, a request for quotation. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 90-46. (iv) This combined/solicitation is not under any set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classification is 3519, size standard 1000. (v), (vi), (vii) Six 150 HP marine outboard motors, which must be a direct replacement for existing engines (150 Mercury outboards), capable of being installed without replacement of existing guages/cables/bolt patterns, etc. All six Motors shall be direct fuel injected, shall meet 2006 EPA requirements for hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide emissions and shall have 25" shafts. Four motors shall be standard rotation and two motors counter-rotation. All six shall be delivered by October 15, 1997.
