13 -- AMMUNITION POC Kevin Merriweather, 202-927-7716 The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (ATF) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Federal Cartridge Company, Anoka, MN for the purchase of the following ammunition: 555 cases tactical 55 grain .223 caliber, 100 cases of .308 168 grain premium match grade boat tail, 299 cases of tactical 12 gauge 00 buckshot, 204 cases of tactical 12 gauge rifled slug and 498 cases of .38 caliber +p 158 grain NYCLAD lead hollow point. Justification: Ammunition required is available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of ammunition will satisfy Bureau requirements. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used for this requirement. RFQ requests must be faxed to 202-927- 8688. Basis of award will be outlined in RFQ-97-0630. RFQ will be available on or about September 2, 1997. Awardee must complete an SF3381, ACH Vendor/ Miscellaneous Payment Enrollment form, for payment via electronic funds transfer.
