Request for proposals (RFP) for the continued operation of the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center located in Morganfield, Kentucky will be available approximately September 29, 1997, for issue in response to written request. The Contractor will be required to provide services to students for Academic and Vocational Training and operate the following support services: Health Services Processing of Student Records, Discipline System, Clothing Issue Mail Services and Legal Services. The Contractor will also provide overall Center management and Administration of Contract and Personnel Administration, Staff Training, Financial Management, Procurement and Property Management, Facility Operations and Maintenance, Security and Safety Services, Community Relations and Public Information. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will cover the period June 1, 1998 through May 31, 2000, plus 3 governmental unilateral renewal options of one year. The approximate average capacity strength is 1830 students (1380 residential males, 450 residential females). Contractor will provide direct outreach/admission services for a total of 350 students and placement services for 315 students. A pre-Proposal Conference and Site-Visit for the Job Corps Center is scheduled for October 7, 1997 to begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center, 2302 U.S. Highway 60 E., Morganfield, Kentucky. Upon entering the facility, tour participants must report to and register at the Administration Building. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this acquisition is 8744.
