The Bureau of Engraving and Printing intends to procure through full and open competition Universal Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Paper for the printing of U.S. postage stamps in accordance with BEP Specification P:PSAPS-1B dated August 6, 1997. The soliciatation will procure stamp paper with a release liner grammage of 70 grams per square meter with 175 PMU, 225 PMU and 0 PMU at widths of 18.5 inches, 20.5 inches and 22 inchesand a release line grammage of 130 grams per square meter with 175 PMU, 225 PMU and 0 PMU at widths of 15 inches, 18.5 inches, 20.5 inches and 22 inches. The BEP intends on awarding multiple delivery order type contracts from a single solicitaion. Resulting contracts will be indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type for a base period of twelve months and four twelve month option periods. The total estimated quanity for the base period is 117,600,000 ft., for Option Period I 122,000,000 ft., for Optional Period II 126,400,000 ft., for Option Period III 130,800,000 ft., and for Option Period IV 135,200,000 ft. All awardees will be given a fair opportunity to be considered for each order. It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued by September 30, 1997.
