Provide all plant, labor, materials and equipment and all operations in connection with improvements and repair of forty three (43) single story Capehart Military Family Housing Units. Work consists of removal and replacement of certain existing walls, doors, windows, ceilings, wall and floor finishes, and other miscellaneous items; construction of building additions to all units; alterations to certain areas of existing buildings; construction of concrete patios, stoops and walks; installation of gutters and downspouts in certain locations; installation of treated wood furring, insulation, and foil-backed gypsum wallboard on inside of existing exterior walls of all rooms except baths and exterior storage/utility rooms; replacement of wood kitchen cabinets and countertops, including furring down to top of wall cabinets; removal and replacement of window treatments; carpet installation in certain areas; some renovation of bathrooms including installation of wood vanities in bathrooms; reinstallation of existing garbage disposals in all units, reinstallation of existing dishwashers and installation of new Government-Furnished dishwashers; replacement of mechanical and electrical equipment; planting of trees and shrubs as required. Estimated dollar range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
