This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13.6 and the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotes are being requested and A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number N00244-97-Q-A641 applies and is issued as a Request For Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-11. The standard industrial code is 3582 and the business size standard is 500 employees. The agency need is for an industrial washing machine. This requirement is for a fixed priced contract for One (1) line item as follows. Line Item 0001: Quantity three (3) each industrial washing machines, Maximum capacity per cycle: 135 pounds; Automatic Control: 30 fully programmable formulas (including 10 pre-programmed); Electrical rating: 200V, 50Hz, 3-Phase; Dimensions: 48-3/4" W x 75" D x 72-1/2" H. Delivery of all items is required 30 days after award of contract to be delivered FOB Destination to: Receiving Officer, Naval Construction Battalion Center, Bldg 801, Port Hueneme, CA 93043-4301.
