USAYPG intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Lumenx, (3400 Gilchrist Rd., Mogadore, OH 44260) for annual maintenance consisting of all labor and transportation to provide at a minimum two visits per year to inspect, calibrate, clean, lubricate, exercise, and test Ball mdl 1027B Tire x-ray system. This acquisition will be sought on an other than full and open competitive basis because there is only one known responsible source. Responsible sources may identify their ability to meet the requirement by submitting a written proposal within 30 days of the date of this publication. The proposal must provide technical information that discusses their ability to provide this service, and provide price. Contract period is 1 Oct 97 thru 30 Sep 98 with one option year. See Note 1.
