This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required items. Proposals are hereby requested under RFQ N00189-97-Q-6230, a subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Acquisition Group Norfolk intends to purchase, on a full and open competitive basis, one hundred (100) each General Electric range, built in black door crome edge, model# JPD37G0BG, dimensions: 2.30 width x 2.30 height x 2.25 lenght and one hundred (100) each General Electric Dishwasher built in black door chrome edge, model# GSD580P-358A, dimensions 1.23 width x 2.33 height x 2.00 length. Award of a firm fixed price contract on a brand name or equal basis is contemplated. Proposals received shall specify FOB Destination, Norfolk, VA. All material should be packed for oversea shipment. Offers other than FOB Destination shall be ineligible for award. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-2 Eval-Commercial Items: The Govt intends to make an award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the minimum technical requirements and submits the lowest overall price. Award will be made to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, offers the most advantageous to price to the Govt. The Govt reserves the right to award the contract to other than the lowest priced offeror.
