The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership requires management and training support to improve delivery of services. Specifically MEP requires information about financial factors and markets that affect a small manufactures competitive behavior and decision making process. The contractor shall report on information about the financial factors that affect small manufacturers' behavior and decision making processes regarding increased competitiveness. The contractor shall provide assistance and/or investigates three areas of interest to the MEP, conduct analyses/recommend, and later evaluate, program alternatives. The government shall review and approve the content of all delivered documents to ensure that the contractor is progressing toward the goals and objectives of this contract. The contractor shall travel as necessary to conduct the support analyses required in the contract. Travel costs should be included in the contractor's proposed budget. Required delivery is 12 months after contract award. F.O.B. Destination, Gaithersburg, Maryland. Period of performance one year with two one-year options after contract award.
