The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, NSWC intends to procure a vehicle telemetry, NEMA radio box complete and tested with receive modem, under a sole source procurement from Broadcast Microwave Services, Inc. The Advanced Sensors ACTD Program is utilizing the "backup" Dolphin ROV from the RMD program to conduct a demonstration of a number of advanced minehunting sensors. The box must be a funcitonal equivalent of the existing radio box in RMS(V)2 (mechanical and electrical). It must fit within the same space in the Dolphin ROV and must be compatible with the radio receiving equipment already in use. Sole Source is based on a proprietary designed circuit board (data processor circuit board) contained within the assembly. It is anticipated that this will be a firm fixed price award.
