On August 27, 1997, the GSA Off~ice of Enterprise Development, the Public Building Service, the Northeast and Caribbean Region Business Service Center and the National Capital Re~gion Business Service Center will be sponsoring a networking session. This session is designed to encourage teaming and partnering as well as to advise small, small disadvantaged and women-owned small businesses about the various subcontracting opportunities that may be available under the two contracts that have been awarded in the East Zone for nationwide lease acquisition services. These services will range from space requirements development through occupancy and post-occupancy administrative functions associated with the award of a new lease and a number of different menu services including outleasing, renegotiation of existing leases and real estate tax appeals. Subcontracting opportunities will include budgeting/estimating, tax appraisals, market surveys, and architectural services. Contracts were awarded to The Crown Partnership, Inc., a small business headquartered in New York, NY, with additional offices in Washington, DC, and Boston, MA, and Spaulding and Slye, L.P., a large business headquartered in Washington, DC, with an additional eighteen offices located in the East Zone. Representatives from both firms will be available at the networking session to address any concerns or questions.
