The U.S. Geological Survey Menlo Park, California intends to place on a sole-source basis a purchase order with Kent State Univeristy, Department of Geology in Kent, Ohio for the continued developement of statistically-based mesocale climate models. This the the final year of a five (5) year collaborated study with Kent State and the University of Arizona in developing an intergrated climate-plant distribution model focused on individual species.
