SOL 105/0189Z/97 DUE 082897 POC Contract Specialist, Major Anthony Nicolella, (205) 876-5354 One generator set, 400 Hz, 100 Kw, 208/416 volts with instrument panel that includes a voltmeter gauge, frequency meter, and ammeter with panel mounted voltage adjustment. Generator's engine is diesel, 145 hp at 2000 RPMs or equivalent, radiator cooled with all filters, and radiator, ambient, 105 degrees. Engine instrument panel includes oil pressure, coolant temperature, and DC voltage gauges. Mechanical governor to provide three percent RPM variation which equates to 12 Hz. Generator equipped with automatic shutdown for faults with temperature, lube, or overspeed. Generator set will be trailer mounted in accordance with trailer, highway type, tandem axles, leaf springs, fenders, marker lights, and four each screw type leveling stands. Tow package should be equipped with pindle hook and safety chains. Additionally, trailer should be equipped with weather or accoustical cover made of composite material, lovered, and lockable with 71dba muffler under the cover.
