consists of construction of a preservative Treated Timber Picnic
Shelter of 740 sq. ft and Amphitheater consisting of bench seating and
stage. 60 days will be required by suppliers to preservative treat the
timbers and lumber required to construct these structures. Included
will be asphalt walks at both structures and general paving of the
Amphitheater Area, electrical, water, and sound systems. The work site
will be adjacent to the Interpretive Center, visitor parking, and
congested areas. Work is located at the National Historic Oregon Trail
Interpretive Center in Baker County, Oregon. Center will remain open
during construction and require contractor to work in and around the
public using the facilities on the work site. All responsible sources
