Gunderson (SEA 02611) (703) 602-7706 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a contract modification to Hughes Aircraft Corporation, Naval and Maritime Systems, P.O. Box 3310, Fullerton, CA 92834-3310 under its MK48 ADCAP Torpedo Engineering Services contract in order to provide for additional engineering services for studies, services, and/or analyses in support of the MK48 ADCAP Guidance and Control Subsystems. Contract N00024-96-C-6103 was awarded on 12 July 1996 on a sole-source basis. In addition to being a qualified manufacturer of the MK48 ADCAP Torpedo, Hughes has developed technology and gained expertise applicable to a torpedo Guidance and Control Subsystem.
