Hill, (214) 302-7522 This solicitation is being issued in accordance with the provisions of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The VA North Texas Health Care System will accept proposals for the provision of readjustment counseling services for eligible veteran beneficiaries residing in the North Texas counties of Archer, Baylor, Clay, Denton, Jack, Wichita, Wilbearger, and Young. It is anticipated that one or more awards will be made for the basic contract period of 10/01/97 through 09/30/98 with two options that will allow the VA Contracting Officer to unilaterally extend the term of the contract for a period of 12 months each. Offerors are advised that their office of operations must be physically located within the North Texas geographical area defined above. The issue date of the solicitation documents is 08/20/97 with a proposal due date of 09/19/97. Only written request for solicitation documents will be accepted.
