The Navy has a requirement for 1 each Mold Flow Controller to be used with a new Van Dorn 400HT Plastic Molding Machine Equipped with Pathfinder 4500 controls. The contractor shall install and interface with existing machinery. The contractor shall furnish all transducers cables, connectors, fittings, electrical supplies, plumbing supplies, and any other required materials to completely install and interface the auxiliary equipment with the Van Dorn 400HT machine. The contractor shall provide a minimum of 32 hours on-site training for up to 4 persons within 30 days after installation and interfacing is complete. Delivery will be required F. O. B. Crane IN with a delivery required by October 01, 1997. Government will inspect equipment upon receipt and reinspect upon installation. A period of 30 days (after receipt of controller and equipment) shall be required to install, interface and test run prior to final acceptance. This Acquisition will be processed utilizing simplified acquisition procedures, andit is anticipated that a written request for quotations will be issued on or about 12 August 1997 with a closing date on or about 27 August 1997. This requirement is a 100% Small-Business Set-Aside and only quotations from small Business Concerns will be considered. All responses are due no later than 4:00 E.S.T. on 27 August 1997.
