R -- MESSAGE AND MATERIALS DEVELOPMENT SOL 277-95-4013 DUE 091097 POC Mary Anne Glitz, Contracting Officer, (301) 443-4980 The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) intends to negotiate a sole source modification under authority of 41 U.S. C. 253.(c)(1) -- only one responsible source -- on contract No. 277-95-4013, with Social and Health Services, Ltd., to increase the level of effort and funds to continue an ongoing prevention campaign currently being performed under this contract which was effective September 29, 1995 and expires September 28, 1998. It is anticipated that this contract modification will be awarded without competition. The estimated date for issuance of this modification request is August 25, 1997 with response due approximately fifteen days later. If responsible sources believe there are extenuating circumstances which would enable them to perform this requirement they may submit a proposal which shall be considered by SAMHSA.
