ANNOUNCEMENT SUPERCEDES AND CORRECTS AN ANNOUNCEMENT POSTED AUG 5, 1997
UNDER CLASSIFICATION CODE "Z". The Administrative Office of the US
Courts (AO) is seeking information on private organizations who have a
minimum of five (5) years of direct experience in providing real
property asset management services. The services include but are not
limited to: architectural/engineering and design services management,
real property site and building condition assessments, alterations
management, facilities management, and all other aspects of
successfully operating and maintaining first class public and private
office buildings. The AO intends to request authority to manage a
number of both new and existing federal courthouses and related
buildings currently managed by the General Services Administration. The
potential sites currently under consideration are located in New
England, Southeast, Southwest, Midwest and Central regions of the
United States. Successful bidder(s) would perform acomprehensive
evaluation of the site condition of the court facilities and present a
building operations and management plan; the Government would reserve
the right to then exercise a contract option to manage the evaluated
site. Submit information regarding how your firm could accomplish these
tasks under one contract vehicle and the teaming arrangements which
would be most effective, how the efforts would be managed, related
experience which may be required, a suggested organizational structure,
suggested key personnel by position description, suggested contract
pricing structure, and other information the Government should consider
in selecting a vendor to perform these type services to: The

submissions should be CLEARLY MARKED AS A RESPONSE TO OFSAS-RFI-97-002.
All responses should be submitted no later than Friday, September 5,
1997. Submissions should not exceed 30 pages. All information requests
and/or questions regarding this RFI should be in writing, and may be
faxed to (202) 273-1496. This is not a solicitation; the Government
