The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst requires repair services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Machida Incorporated, Orangeburg, NY. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only supplier of these services for which they are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) with proprietary rights to the required drawings of the equipment already purchased by the Government. The proposed Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for repair of services shall be for a period of 36 months and will be utilized for Machida Borescope Kit (PN MAO6R6O) used on the F110 Engines that supports the F-14B and F-14D Aircraft. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within thirty days after the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. (0218)
