FSC 80, Part I, Section A -- Paints, Primers, Brushes and Related Products. Contract Term -- February 1, 1998 or DOA through January 31, 2003 with an option to extend an additional 5 year period. Contracts will be negotiated for standard commercial items under the Multiple Award Federal Supply Schedule Program. Through use of Multiple Awards, contracts are entered into with more than one firm for similar items. All offers will be considered for award. Offers will be evaluated and further negotiations conducted where required, as it is the Government's policy to establish a "Most preferred customer" position. Evaluation will be on this basis.
