Z -- REMODEL USPS OWNED FACILITY TO ACCOMMODATE A POSTAL RETAIL STORE AT VANCOUVER, WA SOL 072976-97-A-0217 DUE 082697 POC Teresa Braddock, 253/925-9718; Hugh Roche, 253/925-9719 The contractor will furnish all necessary materials, equipment, services and labor to remodel (Postalize) a 9600 sq ft owned facility to accommodate a Postal Retail Store in Vancouver, Washington (Cascade Park). Construction will include concrete placement, electrical, mechanical HVAC, plumbing, cabinetry, and all other tasks set forth in the construction documents and specifications dated 7/11/97. The estimate for this contract is $800,000 -- $1,000,000. The performance period will be 180 days. Plans and specifications are available at a cost of $35.00 per set (non-refundable). Plan rooms may request the plans at no charge. Plan holder lists will be mailed once weekly upon request; they will not be faxed. Since this is a request for proposal, offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any one offer, or relative standing of the offeror will not be disclosed to anyone until after the award of contract is made and the request is submitted in writing.
