The VA Medical Center, Louisville, Kentucky intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Scientek Hospital & Lab Equipment, Richmond, Canada, for a Cage & Bottle Washer, Model SW5500, installed, to include: Water temperature booster for final rinse; Automatic chemical dispenser; three position detergent selector switch; DTAM Digital Cycle Timer/Programer; Pneumatically operated vent damper which connects directly to facility HVAC system; Vertical Header to process rodent cages (includes 2 mouns/rat box racks); Bottom rotary header; Bottle basket for 16oz bottles; Bottle basket for 8oz bottles; and Transfer Cart. No solicitation package will be issue. Offerors who request a copy of the solicitation and/or simply provide a statement that they can provide the required items will not be considered. Responsible sources may respond by submitting information identifying their capability to supply such a system with adequate technical information for the Government's evaluation. This informationshall only be considered if clear and convincing evidence is provided that the offeror can meet the requirements of the Government. This information shall include technical and pricing date. This is not a request for proposal, however, all responses received before August 26, 1997 will be considered.
