A -- COMANCHE MULTI-SENSOR AIDED TARGETING FOR DATA COLLECTION SOL DAAH01-97-QA0201 DUE 083197 POC contact Cathy T. AMCOM is proposing to acquire efforts to support the utilization of the Multi-Sensor Aided Targeting-Air (MSAT-Air) testbed aircraft for data collection of sensor imagery and evaluation of critical component technology in support of the RAH-66 Comanche development program. The effort consists of maintenance of the current MSAT-Air testbed configuration and support fo data collection efforts and the upgrade of current system configuration with emerging technology to support target acquisition development activities. The period of performance for this effort is the date of award through 31 December 1998. AMCOM anticipates award of a Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement DAAJ09-97-G-0026 to Lockheed Martin. Justification and Authority is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (1). This proposed contract action is for supplies which cannot be procured through full and open competition because the authority states only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, FAR 6.302-1. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves to the Contracting Officer and provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer which will permit their participation in the current or future solicitation.
