F -- FELLING AND LOGGING PORTIONS OF FOREST SERVICE ROADS SOL SOL R6-6-97-090Q DUE 082597 POC Contracting Section, 503/668-1621 This contract consists of felling and logging dead and dying hazard trees within approximately 150 feet of the road edge. Total work area is approximately 86 acres within the East Fork of the Hood River Basin on the Hood River Ranger District on the Mt. Hood National Forest. This includes approximately 25,000 board feet of down cull logs. There are 285 trees that will be painted to fell and these will be marked with blue paint. Work on this contract must be completed by July 30, 1998. (0212)
