66 -- IFR ELECTRONIC TEST FIXTURES AND TEST SOFTWARE FOR THE AN/GRM-114B RADIO TEST SET SOL DAAC71-97-R-0010 DUE 081597 POC Joyce K. Bednar, Contracting Officer; Marilyn Watkins, Contract Negotiator, (717)895-7918 Tobyhanna Army Depot intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with IFR Systems Inc., 10200 W. York St., Wichita, KS 67215-8999 for products needed by Tobyhanna Army Depot to support the AN/GRM-114B Radio Test Set program. DMWR Test Fixtures TF-486, TF-169, TF-107, TF-110, Test Head, Interconnect Device, UUT Interface and TF-486/TF-169 test software will be procured from IFR. It is believed that IFR is the only source who is capable of providing the above items since IFR is the original equipment manufacturer of the system to be supported and developer of the hardware and software described. The test fixtures were specificlly designed by IFR Systems Inc. for diagnosis, troubleshooting and acceptance testing of the AN/GRM-114B radio test set. They are the only source known to possess the necessary expertise and the only known source capable of providing the required items. There is no competitive technical data package available for any of the needed items. Any firm believing they can provide the above should contact the Contracting Negotiator identified.
