This is an amendment to the combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, DE-RP04-97AL76676, posted July 16, 1997. The Department of Energy, Albuquerque Operations Office specifications for a quantity two Forklifts are revised or removed as follows: 1. "5.7" free lift" is removed; 2. "Clutch cutout bottom, is removed; 3. phrase "(in and out as well as right to left from the driver's seat)" is replaced with "side shift with fork positioner"; 4. "extra-long forks" is removed; 5. phrase "(no chains, cables, or belts)" is removed. Under OPTIONS: remove "sideshifting carriage with fork positioner" as this is now one of the standard specs. All other previously published specifications remain as originally posted on July 16, 1997. Due date has been extended to August 14, 1997, for receipt not later than 3:00 p.m. MST. (0212)
