The scope of work is to complete design/engineering from 30% complete to 100% and to construct a new postal facility. Work includes but is not limited to, demolition, earthwork, site utilities and site improvements, paving, landscaping and irrigation. Work includes concrete foundations and slab-on-grade, steel structure, steel joists and decking, roof membrane over roof insulation, sheet metal, masonry, metal stud partitions, insulation, gypsum board walls and ceilings, ceramic tile, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, carpeting, custom cabinets and fixtures, carpentry, glass storefront system, painting, metal doors, wood doors, metal frames, door hardware, sectional overhead doors, metal fabrications, toilet partitions and accessories, signage, lockers, loading dock equipment, fire protection and detection systems, security systems, electrical, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems, complete and ready for use. The work also includes receiving and installing U.S. Postal Service furnished products and coordination with USPS separate contractors. The estimated price range is between $1,400,000 and $1,600,000 with completion within 270 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Proposals are due by 4:00 PM on September 05, 1997.
