The US Department of Energy's Federal Energy Technology Center, Morgantown, WV intends to award a fixed-price contract on a non-competitive basis with Moore Products Company of 1370 Washington Pike, Suite 206, Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, 15017. The contractors knowledge of and familiarity with the existing Moore Products software in place on-site and the fact that choosing other software would render all existing application software on this project obsolete gives Moore unique status in this procurement. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplement with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this action is DE-RQ26-97FT34229 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation. The following is a description of the deliverable associated with this announcement Process Suite software package, I Touch Runtime license, I/O server (single license node), Preferred Service Suite-Process Single node, Preferred Service-Suite-all product Runtime and Client nodes, Mycroadvantage to Process Suite Conversation Tools, Yearly Firmware Subscription Service, Configuration & Training. However, any responsible source(s) capable of suppling the above items are encouraged to respond. Only written responses will receive consideration and the responses must convey the ability of the items to meet the stated requirements. The documentation shall include descriptive literature containing sufficient technical documentation to establish a bonafide capability of meeting this requirement.
