N -- PROVIDE/INSTALL SOUND REINFORCEMENT & VIDEO SYSTEMS, US FEDERAL COURT, JACKSON, TN SOL OXHSFDX-97-036 DUE 090197 POC Denise Reavis, 202-273-1468 Furnish all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and expertise necessary to provide, install, and test complete and fully operational sound reinforcement systems in four courtrooms, one control room, and two law libraries, in the new US Federal Court in Jackson, TN. The sound reinforcement system includes voice reinforcement, bench conference, playbck, simultaneous interpretation, assisted listening, recording, phone interface and control system. The work includes but is not limited to supply/fabrication/testing and adjustment of sound reinforcement and video equipment, preparation of operations and maintenance manuals, user training, warranty maintenance, and the repair and refinishing of all surfaces damaged during the installation of the system components and cabling. The contractor shall have calibrated test equipment of sufficient quality to permit repair and adjustment of system components to manufacture specifications. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest-price. Estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. Bids will be solicited for the proposed contract on an unrestricted basis as to business size. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about August 11, 1997.
