Concerns having the ability for providing Residential Community Corrections Center services for male and female Federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location shall be in the Ft. Myers, Florida area, including counties of Lee, Collier, Hendry, Glades, Charlotte and DeSoto. Operational hotel/motels will not be considered as a physical plant for this requirement. Estimated number of inmate days for the base period is 24,673, plus 12,337 inmate days for option year one, two and three. Estimated RFP issue date is o/a August 29, 1997, estimated closing date is o/a October 29, 1997. A Requirement type contract is anticipated.
