Provide professional medical services in the specialty of a licensed physician board certified in Ophthalmology to the inmates who are incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution, 5701 8th Street, Camp Parks, Dublin, CA 94568. Proficiency in the following procedures are required: Diagnosis and treatment of diabetic ophthalmic disorders, diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, diagnosis and treatment of retinal detachment, diagnosis and treatment of retinopathy, diagnosis and treatment of traumatic eye injuries, diagnosis and treatment of other referred patients with conditions that would normally be treated by an Ophthalmologist in the community. RFQ 8-0002 will be issued on or about July 30, 1997. Services will be required from the date of award or October 1, 1997, whichever is later for the base year, with four (4) one-year option periods.
