This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order to CISCO Systems, San Jose, CA 95134-1706 for the maintenance on the items cited above. Offerors who can furnish the required maintenance for the period 1 October 1997 through 30 September 1998, may submit, in writing, a proposal substantiated by technical data, brochures, etc. to include pricing (FOB Destination). All responses must be received within 15 calendar days of the date of this CBD notice. No telephone requests will be accepted. Requests for a solicitation will be considered nonresponsive. All responses from responsible sources submitting the required information will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that the action may be competed with resulting award under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
