The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, intends to award a Purchase Order for the removal of an existing fluid cooling tower and replace with a new unit. The Government will make the site available for a pre-bid inspection between 4 through 15 August 1997, 8:00 A.M. til 3:00 P.M. (Monday through Friday only). Please call Richard Martin at (904)234-4109 for site inspection. Contractor will be responsible for removal of the old cooling tower and install, set-up, and checkout of the new unit. The new industrial water cooler must fit on a 10'W X 9'L pad. The fluid inlet temperature must be a maximum of 95 degrees F. The outlet temperature must be a maximum of 85 Degrees F. The wet bulb temperature must be a maximum of 80 degrees F. Fluid flow 100 GPM minimum. Feature electric pan heater with controls, coil intake hood with positive closure dampers. Feature 5BHP fan motor minimum. Feature 1.5 BHP pump motor (minimum) with a motor starter or disconnect switch or externalcontrol. Feature an external working platform with ladder and support structure. The successful offeror must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding production, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials or waste during performance of this effort.
