COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF JULY 28,1997 PSA#1896ACCESSIBLE COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY EXHIBIT The tenth Accessible Computer
Technology (ACT X) Exhibit will be October 1, 1997 in the lobby of the
U. S. Department of Commerce at Constitution Avenue and 14th Street in
Washington D. C. The ACT X Exhibit will be a leading showcase for state
of the art electronic accessible technology for people with
disabilities and kicks off October as National Disability Employment
Awareness Month. ACT X is presented by the U. S. Department of Commerce
with the co-sponsorship of several Government agencies in order to
promote accessible technology. This event features the wide range of
accessible technology, demonstrating that individuals with disabilities
can have equal access to the electronic office equipment. ACT X will
also be showing that everyone can benefit from accessible technology
through universal design. We are inviting designers and manufacturers
of accessible technology to participate in ACT X. This is an excellent
opportunity for companies that offer specialized accessible products
to display and demonstrate them in highly visible surroundings. There
are no exhibitors' fees. For additional information and registration
