Summers (405) 734-9759 The 38 Logistics Squadron/LGCX intends to procure on a sole source basis local telephone service for Goodfellow AFB TX 76908-3319. The intended contractor is GTE SOUTHWEST Inc. GTE SOUTHWEST Inc shall provide the following services: (1) Commercial trunks and commercial business lines, for common user dial service within the local exchange area. (2) Inter/Intra Exchange Channel/Mileage from the base to various off premise locations throughout the local exchange area. The period of performance shall be one year from the effective date of contract modification. This one-year extension will allow sufficient time to process a competitive requirement. The primary place of performance will be Goodfellow AFB TX. This acquisition is conducted under the Air Force's regulatory delegation of GSA's exclusive procurement authority for Federal Information Processing (FIP) resources. This sole source acquisition is justified under 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). The CSA is written against the Defense Information Technology Contracting Office (DITCO) Basic Agreement DCA200-92-H-0068.
