contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent
upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for
contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the
Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to
the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor
receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the
Contracting Officer. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material
and equipment for demolition and removal of the existing crane rail,
the wood decking and the 4" x 6" trimmer, the placement of the new
crane rail and wood decking, the repair of column 3E, the painting of
the craneway, and electrical work. Exhaust fumes from all equipment
must be vented to the outside or provided with other protective
measures to ensure safe working conditions within the building. Exhaust
scrubbers that provide clean exhaust are permitted. The air quality
will be monitored by NAVICP. This project shall have a 1 November 1997
start for on site performance. Estimated price range: Between
$100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Number of days in contract: 150. Number of
bid items: One. SIC Code 1629, Heavy Construction, $17.0 Million. This
acquisition will be issued as Unrestricted and subject to the
evaluation criteria contained in DFAR 252.219-7008, Notice of
